Charles L. Kimbell formed Houston Atlas and released the first H2S Process Analyzer.

1982
Charles Kimbell published the first ASTM method for lead-acetate tape H2S analyzers.

1984
Houston Atlas was sold to Tracor and later to Baker Hughes. Tom Kimbell then formed Analytical Systems.

1999
KECO was formed by Charles Kimbell and the KECO Membrane Technology was developed.

KECO sells first KECO Model 204 VOC in Water Analyzer to Exxon.

KECO was acquired by Analytical Systems, forming the new company Analytical Systems KECO, LLC

The Model 205, the first H2S analyzer for liquids, was released for measuring H2S in crude oil and water.

Analytical Systems KECO acquires ATEX and IECEx certifications for Model 204.

Analytical Systems KECO acquires ISO 9001 certification.

A laboratory version of the Model 205, named the 205L was released.

The new PermaStream Stripper for Models 204 and 205 eliminates sample conditioning and reduces parts by over 50%.

KECO acquires Trace Technologies and officially changes its name to KECO.

SulfurHound (H2S analyzer) and CarbonHound (CO2 analyzer) were released.

2023
KECO has acquired ATEX and IECEx certificates, opening international markets. The first KECO Care contract was signed.

KECO has unveiled the OxyHound (O2 analyzer) and MethaneHound (CH4 analyzer).
